Dos and Dont's
Keep the official documents including passports, air tickets, valuable personal effects secure, and don’t carry gold jewelry and valuable things, or large amounts of money with you while traveling. Use credit cards and ATM cards instead.
Reside in safe places, and avoid suspicious, dangerous, uninhabited and dark places.
Don’t carry your passport with you while wandering. Carry a photocopy of the same showing the date and stamp of entry instead.
Don’t answer questions about your nationality or show your ID card before you ascertain the capacity of whoever may request them.
In case of any problem notify the embassy immediately, explaining to the officials of the embassy the details of the problem.
Don’t engage political or information debates or enter into contention with others.
Don’t open your door to anyone before determining their identities.
Refrain from wearing Gulf national outfits outside your residence.
Don’t go on hunting trips especially in remote areas.
Don’t take pictures of buildings, establishments or any public event either with cameras or mobile phones.
