The State of Qatar expressed strong condemnation of the attack with knives and machetes targeting villages in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, which resulted in civilian deaths.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renews in a statement today the firm position of the State of Qatar in rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The Ministry expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and the government and people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
