The State of Qatar has expressed strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted the city of Diffa in southeast Niger and led to the deaths of civilians and security forces.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The ministry expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and the government and people of Niger.
