HE Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met on Sunday in Cairo with HE Chairperson of the National Council for Human Rights of the Arab Republic of Egypt and President of the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions (ANNHRI) Dr. Moushira Khattab.

 

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries regarding the Gaza Strip. They also discussed the violation of human rights by the Israeli occupation forces, their targeting of defenseless civilians, especially children and women, and their blatant violation of the principles and provisions of international law and international humanitarian law.

 

HE the Minister of State for International Cooperation thanked Dr. Moushira Khattab for her presidency of this session of the ANNHRI and the role that ANNHRI plays in presenting the Palestinian issue in various forums.
