The league of Arab States Stood in Solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners on Hunger Strike in Israeli occupation prisons.

Thursday 04 May 2017, The league of Arab States stood in solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike in Israeli occupation prisons.

The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, called on the United Nations and the international community to intervene to stop Israeli violations of Palestinian prisoners in the occupation prisons, stressing that the Arab League will always stand in support of the Palestinian people and his just cause

on his part, the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Egypt and its Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Gamal Al-Shobaky, stressed that this stand expresses a message of protest and anger, rejecting policies of Israeli occupation, pointing out that it coincides with the anger of all political and popular forces on both Palestinian and Arab level.

H.E. Saif Bin Muqaddam Al-Buainain, Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the State of Qatar to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative of Qatar to the League of Arab States  participated in the solidarity stand.
