The State of Qatar has condemned in the strongest terms the stabbing incident that occurred in Kawasaki City, Japan, killing two people, including a girl, and injuring others.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims, the government and people of Japan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
