Ministry of Foreign Affairs Alerts on the Evacuation of Qatari Residency Holders from Gaza

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs cautions against dealing with any entities or individuals that do not represent the Ministry. The Ministry stresses that all procedures for evacuating the Qatari residency holders from Gaza Strip is completely free, and it is based on clear and transparent grounds exclusive to the Ministry. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns against some entities trying to exploit this difficult humanitarian situation to benefit from it. The Ministry also asserts that it will retain its right to take appropriate legal action against any entities or individuals claiming authorization from the State of Qatar, or any affiliated entity to provide any services. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also highlights that the evacuation process requires the following documents to be sent to mofa.evreq@mofa.gov.qa: • Copy of a valid passport. • Copy of a valid Qatar Residency Permit/ identity card. • Phone number of a family member in Qatar. • Phone number to contact the Qatar resident stranded in Gaza.
