Ministry of Foreign Affairs Organizes Seminar on Female Empowerment in Humanitarian, Development and Peace Fields

HE Director of the Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Faisal bin Abdullah Al Henzab affirmed Qatar's keenness on empowering women and providing support and an environment that would enhance their political, civil, social, economic and cultural rights, noting that this keenness was reflected in Qatar National Vision 2030 and in national development strategies 2011-2016 and 2018-2022.



Albania Exempts Qatari Citizens from Entry Visa

An official from the Department of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Albanian authorities decided to exempt citizens of the State of Qatar, who intend to travel to the Republic of Albania, from obtaining a visa starting from April 1, 2019. The decision is valid until October 31, 2019.





Permanent Representative to Geneva Affirms Qatar's Commitment to Support UN Missions and Activities

HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva Ambassador Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri stressed that the State of Qatar values its strategic partnership with the United Nations and has always worked towards achieving its objectives, including maintaining the international peace and security, supporting international development efforts, promoting and protecting human rights, providing humanitarian relief, and participating in collective efforts and initiatives to address current and emerging challenges facing the world.
