HE President of the Republic of Rwanda Paul Kagame met here today with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, during the official visit His Excellency is paying to Rwanda.

The State of Qatar condemned today the vicious terrorist crime that targeted worshipers in the mosques of New Zealand, stressing its strong and firm stance against terrorism in all its forms regardless of its motives and reasons, considering it an act contrary to human nature and all moral values.

The State of Qatar has expressed full support to all international efforts especially the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) aimed at ending the political division and moving towards uniting institutions and promoting and protecting human rights in Libya.

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, met today with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sudan Dr. Dardari Mohammed Ahmed,, who is currently visiting the country.

The State of Qatar has called on all parties of the conflict in Yemen to abide by international humanitarian and human rights law and to protect the civilians and to strive for national reconciliation and move forward with the political process in accordance with the outcome of the national dialogue, the Gulf initiative and Security Council Resolution No. 2116.

The State of Qatar has called on the international community to take all necessary measures to stop the violations and crimes committed by the occupation against the Palestinians, and to hold accountable all those responsible for them and to bring them to international criminal justice and to provide urgent international protection for the Palestinian people as well as put pressure on the Israeli entity to implement the resolutions of international legitimacy, end its occupation of all Palestinian and Arab territories, and stop the implementation of settlement policies and plans.

HE Dr. Mutlaq bin Majid Al Qahtani, the Special envoy of Minister of Foreign Affairs for combating terrorism and mediation in conflict resolution has met during his visit to the Russian Federation with Russian President special envoy for Afghanistan HE Zamir Kabulov.

The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the shooting incident that took place in the city of Utrecht in the Netherlands, and which resulted in deaths and injuries.

The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the repeated incursions into Al Aqsa Mosque by extremist Israeli religious groups under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
